PostSubject: Deck Profile Template   2013-03-14, 07:42

All of the decks I've seen on here so far have had little to no explanation attached.
No reasoning as to why they put in a certain card, or why they have so many copies of it.
Having a deck list is really handy and sometimes it's good to figure things out on your own, but sometimes a deck doesn't make any sense at all. That's mostly directed at me. Other times its just good to explain a card choice, for the learning value there.
So that's why I'm making a template for deck profiles. They're better than just lists when it comes to teaching tools and frankly it makes it easier to figure out how to make the deck better, or more suitable to your play style. Here:

Deck name:
Helpful if it pertains to the deck and isn't something random, like mrbiff's crazy deck.
Deck list: Either a picture or an actual list works fine.
General Overview:
say what the deck is supposed to do, how you go about playing the deck or whatever you need to say in order to explain the deck.
Content Explanation:
Explain techs or whatever you think might need explanation

For people who read Deck profiles: Give feedback, not just 'it looks like a good build'. Give suggestions, if somebody posts a deck chances are they want some help.
That's about it. I myself am going to use this format from now on, so if you need examples look at those as they come,
For science,
Lloyd Asplund

Dueling against me is like getting stomped in the balls repeatedly by a man in a bear suit. The bear is wearing a hat and a bowtie. It's random and slightly painful. I speak from experience.
It looks like this:

P.S. the man on the ground is me
P.P.S. The man in the bear suit is also me
P.P.P.S. The opponent is probably the building or the tree or a very scared onlooker.
